As we jump from February to March, we’re bringing you our #PPThroughThePortal Instagram challenge this week. This can be any sort of passageway or ‘in-between’ space like an archway, door frame, phone lens…get creative!

We’ll be joined by guest judges @barrut and @urbanentdecker_, so check out their feeds to be inspired by their strange and wonderful doors, windows, and passages.

Nine honorable mentions and one winner will be featured on our Instagram feed, so follow the guidelines below to share your finds:

Instructions:

  1. Post a photo/video that fits this week’s theme and tag #PPThroughThePortal and @passionpassport in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it!)*;
  2. Submit as many entries as you like between Tuesday, March, 1st and 11:59am EST on Sunday, March 6th*;
  3. Include a brief write-up (3-5 sentences) in your caption telling us how your entry relates to the theme and why it’s personally significant to you;
  4. Stay tuned for the potential winner to be announced on Monday, March 7th on our Instagram feed.
    *NOTE: Entries must be posted or reposted from a public account during the challenge period. You cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will not be considered eligible.

Stranger and Shadow in Streak of Light under Arch in Barcelona, Spain
PC: @nicanorgarcia
Barcelona, Spain

While walking through the alley, the morning light hit my back with such intensity that I turned to look at it directly. The little Gothic bridge was a perfect filter with magical effect; shadows of passers-by invited me to stay. / #PPThroughThePortal @passionpassport
