The end of a long week is the perfect moment for the travel bug to hit. After a cycle of waking and working, we’re dying for new horizons, and they don’t have to be far. Enter the weekend trip: a concentrated capsule of travel, satisfying our craving to wander, without even having to book a plane ticket! These little getaways are some of the easiest — and sometimes most enjoyable — journeys we’ll ever make.
