On this week’s Twitter Chat we are talking about study abroad with @IFSAButler. The Institute for Study Abroad, Butler University has been facilitating study abroad experiences for undergraduates since 1988 and currently operates programs from Chile to Scotland to Australia, and many places in between.

Many people travel as a way to learn about foreign places or cultures, but some take it a step further. Studying abroad while in college is a way to see the world at your own pace, not only to learn what a place is like, but to learn what you become in a new environment. Whether your studies take the shape of philosophical lectures at Europe’s oldest universities or applied engineering in Sub-Saharan Africa, intensive language training in Asia or biological research in the jungles of South America, the experiences you have while studying abroad can rarely be replicated at home.

Whether you are currently an undergraduate looking to spend a semester or more abroad, or an alumni looking to reminisce about your time spent traveling, join us and @IFSAButler along with co-hosts @DangerousBiz and @TranslateTravel on Thursday, February 5th at 2PM EST for our #passionpassport Twitter Chat. We’ll be trading stories and favorite cities, weighing the options between locations, and sharing a few tips and tricks for getting the program you want and making the most out of it.

One lucky chatter will WIN a Study Abroad supply pack from IFSA-Butler to prepare you for your travels!

If you are unavailable during the chat but would still like to participate, you can schedule your tweets according to the times listed below.
