“The woods are lovely, dark, and deep,” wrote poet Robert Frost, and we can’t help but agree when it comes to the Pacific Northwest. Tucked into a corner of the American continent, the PNW, as it’s often shortened to, is replete with dense forests, towering peaks, and yes — even some bustling cities in between. Our contributors have hopped between metropolises and explored the backcountry, and we’re constantly thinking back to the days the Passport Express spent in the PNW.
