I can’t believe how quickly my time passed in Hong Kong. Since my return, I don’t know what I’ll miss more: the hustle and bustle of the city, the lush green islands, beautiful beaches, the pork over rice, the bubble tea, the colors, double-decker trollies and buses, the ferry rides…I could go on and on about the things that I will miss about Hong Kong.
One thing that is for sure, I will never forget the people that I met in Hong Kong, their overwhelming support and the many laughs I shared with them. I’m so used to traveling alone, that I forgot that some of the fondest travel memories can be created by the people you are with and the people that you may meet along the way. I will definitely miss the people that I met in Hong Kong. Instead of missing the past, I choose to look forward to seeing these friends again and making new memories. I will also really miss the milk tea!
