  3. Include a brief write-up (3-5 sentences) in your caption telling us how your entry relates to the theme and any interesting backstory into the moment; and
  4. Stay tuned for the winner and honorable mentions to be announced Monday, December 12th on our Instagram feed based on guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.

Cars and Signs in Tokyo, Japan

In a city that’s inhabited by 13 million, calm is a feeling that doesn’t particularly come to mind. But on this bright morning, the streets were relatively empty: cars easily gliding along, a few people on foot, and dashes of cyclists heading to work. Wandering on my own, I welcomed the opportunity to experience an unexpected side of this city. / @passionpassport #PPWrittenWord
