Enter this month’s #PPWorldPhotographyDay Instagram Photo Challenge for a chance to win (2) roundtrip tickets for travel between the U.S., Mexico, and the Caribbean, courtesy of our friends at United Airlines!

As a community of travelers, storytellers, and creators, photography is one of our most important forms of self-expression. “A photograph has the ability to capture a place; an experience; an idea; a moment in time. For this reason, it’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words. Photographs can convey a feeling faster than, and sometimes even more effectively than words can. A photograph can make the viewer see the world the way the photographer sees it.” —World Photography Day

Photo and words by @hello_cinthia 📍Mexico 🇲🇽 “For me, to travel is to live. I love experiencing the world’s natural beauty and sharing what I see with others. This moment, in particular, is a very emblematic place for Mexicans, and living through the experience of visiting this sacred and magical place from new heights at sunrise is definitely what attracted me the most.

Being up in the sky, seeing the sunrise with other people who share your love for landscapes is incredible. One thing that stood out to me was meeting so many people who shared their anecdotes and experiences from their past trips.

From this experience, I learned to enjoy the moment and adapt to challenges, as I forgot my camera at home and had to rent one. Remember, always give the best of yourself — many people think that you need an expensive camera to take photos, but the most important thing is your vision.”
