There is no doubt that travel can open our eyes to a whole new world. Often times, it’s the memories that we come back with that we cherish most, and sometimes we return with #PPTravelTreasures.
For this week’s Instagram challenge, we want you to share the treasures you’ve gathered throughout your travels. These treasures can take many shapes: and whether it’s the simple memories, or something physical that commemorates your journeys and takes you back to that special place, we want to see them!
We’re collaborating with guest judges (and color connoisseurs) @eskimo, @hannahjesus, and @lidiaontheroad; so head to their feeds for inspiration, and follow the instructions below for a chance to be featured on our Instagram feed:
- Post as many photos/videos relating to the theme as you like between Tuesday, January 24th and 11:59pm EST on Saturday, January 28th;
- Mention @passionpassport and #PPTravelTreasures in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it);
- Include a brief write-up (3-5 sentences) in your caption telling us how your entry relates to the theme and any interesting backstory into the moment; and
- Stay tuned for the winner and honorable mentions to be announced Monday, January 30th on our Instagram feed based on guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted from a public account during the challenge period. You cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible.
When I travel I always buy a map of the place I visit. I prefer real maps rather than apps. After my trip I like looking at my map again with its creases, spots and little marks — my way of keeping memories of a great journey. / @passionpassport #PPRainbow
