Join us for this week’s #PPTravelMemories Instagram challenge!

Travel has the power to inspire and transform us. Often the experiences we have throughout our travels are the ones that matter most — reflecting themselves in our lives as we continue with our day-to-day.

Our challenge this week is all about those memories we return with: the pictures that transport us back into those special moments, the scribbled notes in our journals, the life-affirming conversations with complete strangers that somehow seem to resonate much longer than the exchange lasted.

Share those memories with us and the rest of the Passion Passport community, as you take us on a journey through time.

This week’s guest judges who’ll be joining us are traveler and recent #PassportToCreativity member @amslebrun  and previous #TBLIVI winner @rachelgulotta, both whom have incredible stories they’ve gathered across their travels. Check out their feeds for inspiration, and follow the guidelines/samples below in order to be eligible to be featured on our feed:

Instructions:

  1. Post a photo/video that fits this week’s challenge theme and mention @passionpassport and #PPTravelMemories in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it)*;
  2. Submit as many entries as you like between Tuesday, May 31st and 11:59pm EST on Saturday, June 4th*;
  3. Include a brief write-up (3-5 sentences) in your caption telling us how your entry relates to the theme and why it’s personally significant to you; and
  4. Entries will be evaluated by guest judges based on Quality of Photo, Quality of Caption, Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme, and Following Instructions. Stay tuned for the winner and honorable mentions to be announced Monday, May 6th on our Instagram feed.

*NOTE: Entries must be posted or reposted from a public account during the challenge period. You cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will not be considered eligible.

Other than the laundry hanging from the balcony or the impossible beauty of pink hues and pastel blues in this street scene, there are many details that I won’t forget soon — like the kid in the backseat who didn’t hesitate to share smiles and funny faces with me. Or the man in the front listening to a sweet rumba melody as he was daydreaming in his own living room / @passionpassport #PPTravelMemories
