In honor of Women’s History Month, we want to celebrate and say thank you to the women who inspire us, shape us, and epitomize the meaning of strength in our #PPStrongWomen challenge. Over the next 10 days, we’re asking you to share moments from your travels or day-to-day life where you’ve experienced the power of women.

From instances of resiliency and inspiration throughout your travels to the women in your life who you appreciate daily (like your favorite travel partner or someone who fills you with a sense of passion), we want to hear more about these meaningful encounters and relationships for a chance to win $250 (USD) in cash and $250 (USD) donated to the Women’s Organization of your choice.

Entry Example:

Photo and words by @jessartes // “From my hometown of Lubango, located in the interior of Angola, I embarked on a 900km journey to the capital, Luanda. Along the way, I explored the region of Sumbe, where I took this photograph on the Kikombo river. This area is full of an immeasurable amount of natural beauty, but what captivated me most is the life and energy of the community that lives off of the agriculture from the river banks. I spent all afternoon getting to know the locals, forging a connection, and not worrying about my camera. I listened to their stories and built a level of affinity that allowed them to return to their activities naturally, allowing me to capture moments candidly. Every time I look at this photo, I’m reminded of the struggle, resilience, and strength of African women and an Angolan proverb that resonated with me on my journey: ‘If you go, don’t put out the fire. Those who stay, warm up.'”
