The theme is #PPStairs for this week’s Instagram challenge! Every journey begins with a first step, whether literal or figurative. From grandiose marble to creaking wood to mechanical moving, we as well as guest judges @inayali, @kiks_way, and @veeceecheng, want to see all the different and wonderful stairs you’ve climbed/descended on your travels! Check their feeds for inspiration, and follow the steps below to join in the fun:

- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, November 14th and 11:59am EST on Sunday, November 19th*.
- Tag @passionpassport and #PPStairs in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it).
- Tell us a story with your caption. Where were you?
- Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, November 20th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
Inspiration:
My photographic senses were thrilled upon seeing this statue. The sheer scale of it was hard to comprehend, and could only be shown in an image by including the people walking up the staircase. // @passionpassport #PPStairs
