From concentric ripples in water to geometric designs in doorways, this week’s Instagram challenge is all about #PPRepetition!
Be on the lookout for symmetrical and asymmetrical patterns. They can be anywhere: in a city’s grid-system layout, in a flower’s mandala of petals, or somewhere that hasn’t even occurred to us….
We’ll be joined by guest judges @evenskild, @joelhypponen, and @nk7 who can’t wait to see your entries. Head to their feeds for inspiration, and follow the steps below to share your finds:
- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, May 2nd and 11:59am EST on Sunday, May 7th;*
- Tag @passionpassport and #PPRepetition in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it);
- Take us into the moment with your caption, sharing any backstory, interesting details surrounding the circumstance, and/or how it relates to the theme; and
- Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, May 8th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
This twisting, sinuous path guides your eyes 12 stories up to where direct sunlight pours in through the clear ceiling. It can feel a bit unusual to dwell in a hospital when you don’t have anyone to visit, but no one seemed to notice. I was just a stranger passing through. / @passionpassport #PPRepetition
