Journal, photo, video; there are a million different ways to document your travel. For this week’s #PPMyMedium Instagram challenge, we want to know the special and unique ways you capture and keep your memories alive!
Check our guest judges for inspiration: @hannahjesus paints with watercolors from the surrounding environment; @heydavina has a knack for capturing mood with her food flat-lays (like in her recent how-to feature); and @quintner collects vintage postcards of his hometown and tracks down the original location. Follow their leads as well as the steps below to join in the fun:
- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, October 3rd and 11:59am EST on Sunday, October 8th*;
- Tag @passionpassport and #PPMyMedium in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it);
- Tell us a story with your caption and how you make your photos/videos/medium your own; and
- Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, October 9th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
The beauty of photography is that there are no rules — you can play fantasy and always look for new things. The purpose here is to show people the world seen through a different lens, so that, as a viewer, you’re seeing what surrounds you through someone else’s eyes. // @passionpassport #PPMyMedium
