Last week was all about the “ordinary,” the habits and routine we come across on the road. In juxtaposition, this week’s Instagram challenge is all about the daring side travel brings out in the shyest of us — the excitement that screams at us to leave caution to the wind and live #PPInTheMoment!
Ever heard the phrase carpe diem? We want you to share the moments you or a travel companion have embodied that seize-the-moment, you-only-live-once spirit of adventure. We’ll be joined by guest judges @barkinozdemir and @karimiliya who can’t wait to see your entries. Head to their feeds for inspiration, and follow the steps below to share:
Guidelines:
- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, June 6th and 11:59am EST on Sunday, June 11th;*
- Tag @passionpassport and #PPInTheMoment in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it);
- Tell us a story with your caption: Where were you? What uncharacteristic or unexpected thing did you do? What gripped you to do it?; and
- Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, June 12th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
