What are you #PPGratefulFor? This Thursday is American Thanksgiving, so this week’s Instagram challenge is all about reflection and appreciation!

Maybe it’s an experience you crossed off your list or someone you traveled with this year. Perhaps it’s a lesson learned. We as well as guest judge @vince_dominguez can’t wait to see your answers! Check his feed for inspiration, and follow the steps below to join in the fun:

Guidelines:

  1. Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, November 21st and 11:59am EST on Sunday, November 26th*.
  2. Tag @passionpassport and #PPGratefulFor in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it).
  3. Tell us a story what you’re thankful for this year!
  4. Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!

*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.

We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, November 27th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judge’s scoring of Quality of ImageQuality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.

Rock Formations in Death Valley, California, USA
Photo by: @jaygold_ Death Valley, California, USA

There is beauty in the unusual, the extreme. My first knowledge of Death Valley came from my Earth Science teacher back in community college. He was passionate about our terrestrial world and what nature has to offer us. His energy was contagious, and I developed a love for the topic almost immediately. A few years went by until this year came, when my girlfriend and I were unexpectedly able to visit Death Valley together. It shattered my expectations — the beauty, the equanimity! I’m so thankful for this travel experience, for my girlfriend sharing such a dear interest with me, and for her company on this unforgettable journey// @passionpassport #PPGratefulFor
