Whether at home or in a distant land, we all share the same sun. Tell us as well as guest judges @joethommas & @platoux where you’ve witnessed your most memorable sunrises and sunsets. We can’t wait to be blinded by your entries, so just follow the rules below:
Guidelines
- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Thursday, March 21st and noon EST on Thursday, March 28th*.
- Tag #PPGoldenHour in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it).
- Take us into the moment with you in your caption by sharing 3-4 sentences.
- Check the sample below, get creative, and get going!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions the following week on our Instagram feed based on Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
Inspiration
For @passionpassport‘s #PPGoldenHour challenge // I woke up at 4 a.m. to drive two hours to Durdle Door with two of my friends. I had visited that same spot many times before, and I had always liked it enough to plan another return trip, but this particular morning was the most amazing one yet. The beach was empty when we arrived, and all I could hear was the gentle sound of the waves. I had never noticed that the door casts a perfectly straight shadow across the water as the sun comes up, and the way the warm light hit the fog was just perfect. Needless to say, I plan to continue my cycle. I’ll be back again and again, just waiting for another unforgettable morning like this one.
