How to Enter

  1. Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme during the week between Saturday, August 10th and noon EST on Saturday, August 17th*.
  2. Tag #PPColorPop in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it).
  3. Take us into the moment with you in your caption by sharing 3-4 sentences.
  4. Check the sample below, get creative, and get going!

*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.

We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions the following week on our Instagram feed based on Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.

For @passionpassport‘s #PPColorPop challenge // Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, is one of the largest in all of India. It is nearly 600 years old and towers high above the city. As I walked through the massive walls that enclose the fortress, I noticed a man sitting in an enclave smoking a tobacco pipe and stopped to take his portrait. Being in India, travelers are typically overwhelmed by the richness in culture, as it greets you at every turn. But this vibrancy of life is what makes the country unique and seems to bring everyone together. I feel blessed to have been able to capture even a little piece of it.
