For @passionpassport‘s #PPBlue challenge // From the moment I stepped into the crowded street of the Medina, the spirit of Morocco revealed itself to me in burning color. Every sight, smell, and sound was tinged with intensity, and every interaction was met with unparalleled hospitality — it truly seemed as if the entire city was conspiring to help me get where I needed to go. As a woman traveling alone, you’re often warned against engaging with strangers, but Morocco reaffirmed my faith in humanity in a way no other destination has. My time there was a reminder of the goodness in people — a lesson to approach life with a loving heart and an open mind. As Moroccans like to say, “You happy, we happy, Allah happy.”
