Summer is nearing an end, so we want to make the most of those warm nights with this week’s #PPAroundTheCampfire Instagram challenge!
Of course literal campfires are fair game, but feel free to get creative with your interpretations. You can focus on the campfire vibes of warmth, storytelling, and camaraderie. Maybe your entry is from a “Remember that one time you got so lost…” moment friends always ask you retell. Maybe your entry is from a spontaneous trip to a swimming hole with buddies. Or perhaps it’s from the recent eclipse.
Whatever it is, we’ll be joined by guest judges @ginaheld_ and @jameslloydcole who can’t wait to see your entries! Head to their feeds for inspiration, and follow the steps below to participate:
Guidelines:
- Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, August 22nd and 11:59am EST on Sunday, August 27th;*
- Tag @passionpassport and #PPAroundTheCampfire in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it);
- Tell us a story with your caption: Where were you? Who were you with? What made this moment campfire-worthy?; and
- Check the sample below and get creative with your entries!
*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.
We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, August 28th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.
Inspiration:
When we first arrived, fog drowned out every peak surrounding Lake Moraine. Nothing could be seen but a near perfect reflection of the clouds. But as soon as the fog lifted, it took very little to convince my friend to dive into the cold, glacial water. / @passionpassport #PPAroundTheCampfire
