Passion Passport is seeking new freelance writers to join our team!
We’re a website that focuses on making the most of our journeys, whether it’s through sustainable travel, being culturally aware, or connecting with local people and places. Our writers are open-minded and have an interest in sharing their passions through travel.
We’re looking for new contributors who share our values and who are experts in certain cities, regions, or countries. You will be asked to contribute to the website’s guides, location-based content, personal narratives, and how-to’s. A previous writing background is not necessary, but you will be required to submit writing samples, edit your work and review feedback from our editorial manager.
Our writers have:
- A love for travel and creating connections with a variety of cultures
- Understanding of location
- Availability to discuss edits and to attend occasional, virtual meetings and calls
- Basic photography skills
The ideal candidate will have:
- Excellent writing skills
- Experience working with WordPress
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- A degree or earning a degree in English, communications, or journalism
