Thanks to all who participated in this week’s Instagram challenge #ppglobalcitizen. It was inspiring seeing (and reading) how Passion Passport community members interact with others from all over the world — from Austria to Uganda and on!
Congratulations to this week’s honorable mentions (left to right, starting top-left): @pruue, @imwithstephen, @pamelasendee, @claregunton, @artjaunts, @mcallisterjeff, @michaelmutz, @paqui2fr, and @trisataro. Make sure to check their individual feeds for their write-ups.
“Welcome to Malawi, or as they call it, ‘The warm heart of Africa’. For a month we lived among the locals and learned how to make bread with a hot stone, take bucket showers, dance like we really meant it and see what it looks like to be bafflingly generous. Throughout Africa, hospitality is in their DNA. They would go a week without food to present you with a feast for dinner. In America we have so much at our finger tips; access to anything we want, we are surrounded by comforts and inundated with messages telling us to focus on ourselves. Yet they laugh harder, support each other more, give generously and understand the meaning of family more than most of us will ever know. I learned what it looks like to really live.”
