Providing New York City walking tours to a number of areas (including their new photo walk on the High Line), exploring with Walks of New York is a fantastic way to discover the Big Apple. They are a new extension of the highly popular Walks of Italy.

This week’s contest is #ppcityscapes! Show us some of your favorite memories from your home cityscape or one from your travels. Think of interesting and creative ways to highlight a cityscape in a photo or video: try shooting a skyline in bokeh at night, reflected in water, or from a unique perspective of your choice. Write a short blurb about your photo or video: what is special or memorable about your entry? (Note that the winner always has a writeup for their photo.)

The winner of this challenge will soon be taking cityscape photos and videos of their own in New York city! The winner will receive a weekend trip to New York City (including flights, two nights of accommodation and walking tour) to be arranged by Walks of New York (*please see additional terms and conditions below). The five honorable mentions will each receive $100 gift certificates for their choice of Walks of New York or Walks of Italy.

*Please note the following additional terms and conditions:

– The winner for this challenge must be a U.S. Resident.
– The winner’s flights (round-trip) will be determined in conjunction with a member of Walks of New York staff. Walks of New York has the right to select the appropriate flight, route, airline, itinerary and seat as they deem appropriate.
– The winner’s accommodation will be determined in conjunction with a member of Walks of New York staff. Walks of New York has the right to select a hotel or apartment as they deem appropriate.

Instructions:

1) Post a photo or video that fits the theme #ppcityscapes. Note that you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo or video — you MUST post or re-post your entry. You may submit as many entries as you like.

2) Tag @passionpassport and #ppcityscapes in your caption so that we don’t miss your entry.

3) Include a short blurb about what was significant about your photo or video.

4) Submit your entry between Monday, April 21st and Saturday, April 26th at 11:59pm PST.

5) Honorable mentions and the prize winner will be announced on Sunday, April 27th on PassionPassport.com.
