For this week’s #PPMinimalist2 Instagram challenge, we’re bringing back a familiar theme with some familiar faces! Travel can have a way of clearing the clutter and making things clear. We’re looking for the clean, the stark, the negative for this theme. We’re looking for the embodiment of less is more….

We’re thrilled to be joined by guest judges @quietpoem and @candida who can’t wait to see where your entries take us! Check their feeds for inspiration and follow the guidelines below to tell your story.

Guidelines:

  1. Post or re-post photos/videos according to your interpretation of the theme between Tuesday, February 13th and 11:59am EST on Sunday, February 18th*.
  2. Tag @passionpassport and #PPMinimalist2 in your caption (if in the comments, we may miss it).
  3. Take us into the moment with you by sharing what caught your eye.
  4. Check the sample below, get creative, and get going!

*NOTE: Entries must be posted or re-posted (i.e. you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video) from a public account during the challenge period. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will NOT be considered eligible for feature.

We’ll announce the winner and honorable mentions Monday, February 19th on our Instagram feed based on the guest judges’ scoring of Quality of Image, Quality of Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme.

For @passionpassport‘s #PPMinimalist2 challenge // Some places feel like an emotion rather than a place, like a memory or a dream. There’s something surreal and yet so real about walking around in dunes as white as snow as the shadows change colours around you. What makes this place so beautiful is what is not there — no clutter, no chaos. Just a clean blank slate that reminds you that life is full of beginnings.
