“Ascending the summit of Pikes Peak (Colorado) via train was an unforgettable experience — as was the view at the top! Life at 14,000 feet definitely keeps your eyes open. Having a seemingly endless view of neighboring mountains, trees, and lakes puts into perspective the variety of creation that is on the earth. As I looked down knowing that I would soon be at the base once again, I was reminded of just how small we all are in this big, beautiful world that we share — and I wouldn’t want it any other way.”
