Tom Barnes
Tom Barnes is an internationally published British landscape photographer, based in Somerset England. Tom has spent 20 years travelling the world with a camera, always finding the road less travelled in search of pictorial stories that inspire and awaken the imagination. Having been invited to collaborate with National Geographic in 2016 on a project across South America, Tom is now working on an even bigger continental project for 2017. But Somerset is home and is where his love of photography began. The recently published ‘Fistful Of Metal’ collection, a story told in 20 fine art images of the British southern coastline and the structures along it, has been shortlisted for 2 photography awards and featured in 2 magazine publications. Using ultra long exposure photography techniques and mostly black and white images to create striking etherial scenes, Tom’s fine art work is instantly recognizable.
