Barges of Watermelons in Babu Bazaar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Photo by: @photographybd Babu Bazaar, Dhaka, Bangladesh

For @passionpassport‘s #PPMarketplace challenge // Dhaka, Bangladesh, is the most densely populated city in the world, nearly 20 million people live in the small city (46,997/km2). In spring and summer, the temperature can rise up to 40 degrees centigrade with 80% humidity. People have pieces of melons or drink melon juice to cool off from the scorching heat, so melons come in 3,000-7,000 in each boat. There’s no end; boats come one after another until sunset and start all over the next day.
