What’s better than going to the #PPMarketplace to get to know a new destination? In ancient Greece, the agora was an open meeting place for commerce, politics, and social life. For this week’s Instagram challenge, we want you to overwhelm us with smells, colors, and bustle of the modern (or ancient) marketplace!

Guest judges @inayali & @photographybd are joining in, so check their feeds for inspiration and follow the guidelines below to enter!

Barges of Watermelons in Babu Bazaar, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Photo by: @photographybd Babu Bazaar, Dhaka, Bangladesh

For @passionpassport‘s #PPMarketplace challenge // Dhaka, Bangladesh, is the most densely populated city in the world, nearly 20 million people live in the small city (46,997/km2). In spring and summer, the temperature can rise up to 40 degrees centigrade with 80% humidity. People have pieces of melons or drink melon juice to cool off from the scorching heat, so melons come in 3,000-7,000 in each boat. There’s no end; boats come one after another until sunset and start all over the next day.
