For many of us, summer 2020 may have looked and felt a little different than the sunny seasons of years before. Our current social environment often left us faced with little choice but to defer or completely cancel our summer holiday plans, opting instead to travel locally or enjoy a staycation — whatever could come close to capturing that real summer feeling. Whether it was visiting a nearby beach, catching up with some friends and family while socially distancing, camping, hiking, or taking day trips, in this week’s #PPHuesOfSummer challenge, we want you to relive your favorite summer memories. If you still managed to make some great ones this year, or just feel like reminiscing on yesteryear, we are on the lookout for moments that epitomize the feeling of summer and showcase its many hues.

For @passionpassport‘s #PPHuesOfSummer challenge // “I spend my summers working as a lifeguard, and every year I try to explore new places on my days off. Being in the south of the Algarve, these wanderings often lead me to beaches like this one, called Benagil. My coworkers and I spent the day taking in the sun and walking on the rocks. I was dazzled by the view and decided to capture it with my iPhone as a memory for later. The Algarve, for me, is one of the best places to spend the summer holidays. There’s such good energy here. I’ll always cherish the cozy nights and hot summer days, the friendly faces, the sound of the seagulls singing all day and the beautiful Portuguese sunsets.”
