Patrick Oppmann
Patrick Oppmann is a CNN correspondent and the Havana bureau chief. Since moving to Cuba in 2011, Oppmann has covered the restoration of US-Cuban diplomatic relations, the historic visit by Barack Obama to the island and the death of Fidel Castro. Before moving to Havana, Oppmann was based in Miami and then Seattle for CNN. He graduated from Duke University in 2000.
