Our Instagram challenge for the week of April 7th is in collaboration with Zeal Optics. Their sunglasses and goggles use state-of-the-art technology and are a great addition to any outdoor enthusiast or traveler’s suitcase.

This week is #ppchasinglight! A reference to one of Instagram’s most notable hashtags (#chasinglight), our community will need some sunglasses to prepare them for all of the streams of light coming their way. Share your experiences from your travels or from your current city that include interesting bursts of light and shadow. Think of golden hour rays and harsh sunlight agains pillars or other objects, and be creative! Write a short blurb about your photo or video: what is special or memorable about your entry? (Note that the winner always has a writeup for their photo.)

The top three entries will receive a pair of sunglasses from Zeal Optics (from select styles.) The nine honorable mentions will also receive vouchers for 50% off a pair of sunglasses.

Instructions:

1) Post a photo or video that fits the theme #ppchasinglight. Note that you cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo or video — you must post or re-post your entry. You may submit as many entries as you like.

2) Tag @passionpassport and #ppchasinglight in your first caption so that we don’t miss your entry.

3) Include a short blurb about what was significant about your photo or video.

4) Sign up for our newsletter.

5) Submit your entry between Monday, April 7th and Saturday, April 12th at 11:59pm PST.

6) Honorable mentions and the prize winner will be announced on Sunday, April 13th on PassionPassport.com.
