As a play on #framedbynature, this week’s Instagram challenge is #PPFramedByArchitecture!

From classical to contemporary, architecture brings all sorts of shapes and patterns to our daily lives. We want to see how you can use it to find new perspectives and complement your composition, whether you’re focusing on a person, nature, or more architecture!

Joining us will be guest judges @edwardkb and @misterflopatrick who will be looking at the Quality of the Image, Quality of the Caption, and Creativity/Interpretation of the Theme. Follow the instructions below for your chance to win a 16×16 inch canvas print!

Instructions:

  1. Post a photo/video that fits this week’s theme and tag #PPFramedByArchitecture and @passionpassport in your caption.
  2. Submit as many entries as you like between Monday, November 9th and 11:59pm EST on Saturday, November 14th.*
  3. Include a brief write-up (2-5 sentences) in your caption describing what is personally memorable or significant about your photo/video. Check out the sample below for inspiration!
  4. Stay tuned for the potential winner to be announced on Sunday, November 15th here on PassionPassport.com.

*NOTE: Entries must be posted or reposted from a public account during the challenge period. You cannot simply ‘tag’ an older photo/video. Those posted from private accounts and/or posted outside of the challenge period will not be considered eligible.

Circular Tunnel Framing View of Istanbul, Turkey

It was my first time in Istanbul. While exploring, my friend and I happened upon this pipeline leading us to a completely different and unexpected. Sitting there, we appreciated the bustle of the city in the peace and  quiet that only distance can bring. / #PPFramedByArchitecture @passionpassport
