France has always been a high-priority travel destination, revered for its perceived romance, top-tier gastronomy, and intricate history. While Paris stands as the epicenter of French travel, a world within itself, the country has much to offer beyond the bounds of the capital. From the lavender fields of southeastern Provence to the rugged beaches of Normandy, France encompasses a wide spectrum of landscapes, traditions, and cultural peculiarities.

In this week’s Twitter chat, we’re focusing on France as a travel destination. Whether you’ve traveled there before or have yet to set foot on the cobblestones, we want to hear your impressions, what regions draw you in most, and what France means to you.

Join us this Thursday 8/13, at 2pm EST, by using the tag #PassionPassport on Twitter. We’ll have plenty ofFrench expertise, as the following co-hosts will be joining the conversation:

Lindsey Tramuta (@lostncheeseland): American expat living in Paris and owner of Lost in Cheeseland
Janine Marsh (@lifefrance): French transplant and editor of The Good Life France
