Mobile Photography

With the rapid advancement of mobile camera technology – from the hardware to the apps that power it – we are seeing a similarly rapid rise in mobile photography. Though often associated with selfies and spur-of-the-moment captures, the new generation of mobile cameras are capable of creating images that stand up to those created by their DSLR counterparts. We carry our smartphones with us wherever we go, and we have all heard the quote: “the best camera is the one you have with you.” Your smartphone is often the only camera at your disposal in any given moment.

If we combine this accessibility with increased knowledge of the device and tips from those who have mastered it, we unlock the true potential of mobile photography. The aggregation of published images resulting from mobile photography gives us the power to create a more impressive collective memory than ever before.

Join us this Thursday, 6/11, at 2pm EST to chat about mobile photography. Share stories, photos and tips. Become more proficient with that powerful device in your pocket!

We are joined by co-hosts who are pioneering the field, enabling and creating incredible images with mobile cameras:

Moment (@moment): Lens manufacturer (momentlens.co)
Griffin Lamb (@gmlamb): Photographer
Art Chang (@art_chang): Photographer, CEO of mobile photo editing app Priime,
